It's easier and cheaper than most people think! We recommend UPS for the fastest and most cost-effective way to send us your sail. Grab a sturdy box, slap on the mailing label you'll receive, and drop it off.

When your sail arrives, one of our professional sailmakers carefully measures it, notes all the details, and checks it against our database of thousands of sailboat specifications before building your new sail to match.

It’s up to you if you want us to return your old sail. We’ll check with you when you place your order and if you decide you don’t want it back, we’ll recycle it through partners like Sea Bags and local craftsmen to give it a second life — and save you the return shipping cost.

We stand behind every sail we make. Our design and inspection process means fit issues are rare, but if something isn’t right, we’ll take care of it. Our 5-year guarantee covers warranty and refit work so you end up with a sail you’re happy with.

It depends on the season and where you live. On average, sails take a few weeks to build once they’re on our floor, plus shipping time. We’ll keep you updated when your sail goes into production and again when it ships so you’re never left guessing.

Most of the time, yes. Even worn sails give us the baseline we need. We also compare your sail’s dimensions against boat records and rig specifications, so the new sail fits and performs even better than the old one.
